Coordinates activities of persons engaged in vending-stand
operations of state program for rehabilitation of the blind:
Observes stand operation and advises blind vendor on merchandise
purchase and display, improved methods of operation, personal
appearance, and sanitatoin.
Inspects condition of stock and
fixtures to ascertain adherence to regluations and to determine
need for maintenance and repairs. Examines invoices and receipts
to determine equity of charges and to prepare monthly profit and
loss statement. Investigates and resolves problems varying from
nuisance complaints to breach-of-contract. May address civic
groups to promtoe public relations.
May collect cash, invoices,
receipts, and specified assessments as determined by state
program requierments. May plan, locate, and arrange for
installation of stands, train vendors, and negotiate contracts
with buildnig managers for stand operation [Business-Enterprise
